Redcar Racecourse is easy to get to with excellent road networks providing easy access from the main road networks. 

We have free public car parking at Redcar Racecourse, but please remember to leave plenty of time when planning your journey as the routes around the racecourse can become very busy in the lead up to gates opening and the first race.  It is always better to come early and enjoy a drink at the bar than be stuck in the traffic missing the hot tip in the first race!
 

By Road

Redcar Racecourse is in the centre of Redcar and is readily accessible by road with links via the A1, A66, A19 and A174 Parkway. Once on the outskirts of Redcar follow the yellow directional signage to the most appropriate car park. Please refer to the map beneath.

By Rail

Redcar Central Station is only 7 minutes walk from the Racecourse and has regular services linking both the rest of the Tees Valley as well as the East Coast Main Line from Darlington.

If you'd prefer not to walk you could always take a taxi from the station. There are a number who base themselves at the train station on racedays. However it may be worthwhile booking a taxi. The local firm is J&P Taxis on 01642 47 48 49.
