Redcar Racecourse holds 18 race days throughout the season, from April to November so you've got plenty of choice for a great day out.

 

Easter Monday = Monday 6th April (Bank Holiday)

Featuring an Easter treasure hunt and Mad Hatter's Easter Bonnet parade - come in your best Easter bonnet and join in our parade.

Racing UK Zetland Gold Cup Day = Monday 25th May (Bank Holiday)

Redcar Racecourse : Zetland Gold Cup Winner 2008 

The highlight of the Spring racing season, featuring the iconic Zetland Gold Cup race.

Meet our Disney princesses who will be around to meet you and have lots of fun, tell stories, play games and teach you some princess etiquette.  They may even bring some of their superhero friends for the boys!

 

Ladies' Day = Saturday 20th June

  Redcar Racecourse - Best Dressed Lady & Best Hat 2009

If you're more of a social racegoer then Ladies' Day on Saturday 20th June is a great excuse to buy a new outfit - there's always a chance you could win some great prizes too!

Great racing meets glamour on Ladies' Day.  Featuring the "what to wear at the races" fashion show.

Alongside the 7 races planned for the day we also have Best Dressed Lady and Best Hat Competitions taking place during the afternoon with great prizes kindly provided by Market Cross Jewellers.

Our favourite iconic ladies from our favourite stroies will be around the course.  Join Dorothy, Alice, Snow White and Mary Poppins for games, stories and lots of fun.

Help For Heroes Family Fun Day = Sunday 19th July

     Redcar Racecourse - Felix Fund Logo 

It’s Help For Heroes Family Fun Day and the second day of the Go Racing In Yorkshire Summer Festival on Sunday 19th July.

If it's value for money your looking for then you can't beat Redcar Racecourse for a affordable and fun filled family day out in the Tees Valley. Tickets start from £5 for adults and children under 18 get in for FREE!!! (When accompanied by an adult).

 

The racecourse is teaming up with Help For Heroes, The Royal British Legion and The Felix Fund, representatives of which will be there on the day.

Caribbean Carnival Day = Saturday 8th August

    

Ahoy me Hearties!! Our pirates will be making an appearance, teaching pirate chants and telling stories of life on the open wave - come along and join the pirate mission!

Boogie along to the Paradise Steel Ban who'll be performing throughout the day.

Children and adults can enter the Caribbean Fancy Dress Competition by dressing up in their pirate outfit or grass skirt. 

 

Saturday 29th August = Ladies' & Gents' Evening

"REDCAR'S RED CARPET EVENT" We've all seen the celebrities strutting their stuff on the red carpet. Nows your chance to do the same with the chance to win some fabulous prizes. Ladies' and Gents' come dressed to impress and you could be a winner!
 
Alongside the 6 horse races we'll have 3 great competitions: Best dressed lady; Best dressed gent; and best couple, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs.
 
Featuring fun casion tables, pamper zone, and a photobooth during the evening.
 
So come along and enjoy an evening of racing and entertainment.

Two Year Old Trophy Day = Saturday 3rd  October

 The highlight of the Autumn racing season featuring the £150,000  Two Year Old Trophy (Channel4), the listed Guisborough Stakes, and the final of the Pinnacle Cup Straight Mile Series.

We're also getting ready for Halloween with our good and bad guys - look our for Maleficent who evily put a curse on sleeping beauty, the Wicked Witch of the West who will stop at nothing to get the ruby slippers, and the Joker who's after the prize money.   

 

 

Please be aware that proof of age identification may be required.  The accompanying adult is responsible for the children for the duration of their visit to the racecourse.
