Ladies' & Gents' Evening

Redcar's Red Carpet Event! 

We've all seen the celebrities strutting their stuff on the red carpet. Now's your chance to do the same with the chance to win some fabulous prizes. Ladies' and Gents' come dressed to impress and you could be a winner!
 
Alongside the 6 horse races we'll have 3 great competitions: Best Dressed Lady; Best Dressed Gent; and Best Couple, with some fantastic prizes up for grabs.

Fashion Show - 6pm
Fabulous local designers Kate Fearnley & Lynne Young of Chic Hat have teamed up with Bakers Tailoring to showcase a “Guide to Glamour” Fashion Show in the Winners' Enclosure after the 2nd race.
 
Best Dressed Competitions - 7pm
The Best Dressed Lady, Best Dressed Gent and Couple Competitions are the highlight of the evening.
 
Our “spotters” will be mingling through the crowds so make yourself known to them and if you’ve come dressed to impress you could be onto a winner.
 
The judging of the Competitions will take place after the 4th race in the Winners’ Enclosure.
 
Entertainments
Alongside the racing, fashion show and best dressed competitions you can also try your luck on the Fun Casino, boogie along to local band Chilli & The Peanuts, or feel relaxed and refreshed in the Petch Stand ‘Pamper Zone’.
 
Behind The Scenes Tour
Join ex-jockey Jimmy Bleasdale for a Behind the Scenes tour of the racecourse including a visit to the Weighing Room. The tour will start at 3.30pm – please meet in front of the Petch Stand if you’d like to take part.
