8 Races on Tote Two Year Old Trophy Day, Saturday 2nd October

The declarations are now in for the big Tote Two Year Old Trophy Day on Saturday 2nd October and there are now 8 races on the card.

The Totepool Two-Year-Old Trophy, raced over threequarters of a mile, attracts entries from hundreds of horses. But only 23 can take part. The race, for two-year-old colts and fillies, is worth no less than £150,000, and the prize is much sought after by racehorse owners and trainers on both sides of the Irish Sea.

Paul Hanagan, the current leader in the race to be Champion Jockey 2010 takes the ride on the Richard Fahey trained Chiswick Bey in the big race, and has rides in 7 of the 8 races on the day.

Timings for Saturday:

Gates Open: 12.00 noon
First Race: 2.10pm
Last Race: 6.15pm

General admission on Saturday

Grandstand £15;
Course Enclosure £5.
Accompanied children under 16 always admitted free of charge.
Seniors - £12 Grandstand and £4 Course Enclosure.
