CELEBRITY TURN OUT AT REDCAR RACECOURSE

Allan Shearer's runner Justonefortheroad secures victory at Redcar Racecourse on the same day as Kosie Miura, Celebrity Jockey from Japan is welcomed to the seaside Racecourse.

Redcar Racecourse experienced a flurry of excitement as Alan Shearer’s runner Justonefortheroad finished first in the 4.40, The Christmas Parties @ Redcar Racecourse Maiden Stakes on Monday afternoon. Alan Shearer is one of three owners in the Pontoon Partnership. His presence stirred the crowd and he happily signed autographs for the numerous fans before viewing the victory once again from the Directors' Suite.

Redcar Racecourse also welcomed the Japanese riding sensation Kosie Miura on Monday. The 19 year old Jockey secured his second UK victory riding Kind Heart for trainer Sir Mark Prescot in the 4.10, The Subscribe to Racing UK selling Stakes. Despite his massive fame in his home land Kosie was a humble and gracious winner. We wish him a safe journey home.
