DARTS LEGEND BOBBY GEORGE AT REDCAR’S ‘LADS’ NIGHT’ THURSDAY EVENING

Redcar’s ‘Lads’ Night’ Meeting next Thursday (July 1) is a seven-race programme beginning at 6-10 p.m. The evening includes a special guest appearance by darts legend Bobby George, who will have his own darts roadshow, while there’s a fun casino, Best Dressed Lad Competition and glitzy Las Vegas stilt-walking ladies!

There’s also a ‘Best-Dressed Gentleman’ competition during the evening to win prizes provided by Market Cross Jewellers, Psyche Department Store of Middlesbrough and totepool.

On the track, the highlights are The Psyche Department Store Handicap Stakes (a contest for three-year-old sprinters over six furlongs), along with a couple of Nursery Handicaps for two-year-olds supported by Market Cross Jewellers Stakes and Glanbia Nutritionals UK Ltd. The latter company, based in Middlesbrough, support this evening meeting for the second year.

As usual, the giant screen will enable racegoers to follow all of the action on the track.
