REDCAR Racecourse's website was deluged after the offer of 500 free tickets for the opening racing day of 2011 on Monday 18 April.

The places at the races were all snapped up within 24 hours of being made available.

The Tees Valley racecourse has now responded swiftly with another money-saving deal for its visitors.

Anyone buying a Grandstand ticket for the second meeting in April - on Easter Monday 25 April - will also be given free admission on Monday 18th.

The offer of 500 free tickets was part of Racing for Change's free racing month in April involving 26 racecourses nationwide.

Amy Fair, general manager of Redcar Racecourse, said: "The 500 free tickets for 18 April were all taken up within 24 hours. Our website was amazingly busy, as our friends and followers on Facebook and Twitter in particularly booked their places.

"Now we are very pleased to offer another great deal - buy a Grandstand ticket for Easter Monday and you can come along free on 18 April too . . . two days at the races for the price of one."
