Help For Heroes - A Heroic Success

Sunday 18th July Help For Heroes Family Fun Day was a fantastic success, with thousands turning up to show their support. The day raised £1929.74 in total. Thank you to everyone who supported this worthwhile charity day.

Sunday 18^th July Help For Heroes Family Fun Day was a fantastic success, with thousands turning up to show their support. The day raised £1929.74 in total. Thank you to everyone who supported this worthwhile charity day.

Standard Bearers from the Royal British Legion performed a moving procession down the finishing straight and later in the day Help For Heroes presented a cheque for £1,500 to The Yorkshire Regiment, collected during the recent home coming parade in Redcar.

Meanwhile, in the Course Enclosure families enjoyed the plentiful entertainment on offer. Spike the hedgehog proved very popular with the young children as did our regular guest: Specky the clown! A true ‘feel good day’ for young and old.
