Horseracing fans can now watch with greater flexibility via Racing UKs Day Pass

Monday 1 June 2015

Racing UK has today launched its Day Pass which enables racing fans to watch a days action for a one-off fee of 10 or 10.

 The new service means viewers:

  • can watch racing when they want
  • aren’t committed to a contract or have to pay a connection fee
  • can watch instantly and on all seven specified devices

Racing UK broadcasts from 34 of the UK’s leading racecourses, meaning viewers can pick and choose from a host of top-class racing. Viewers who take up the Day Pass today can watch 27 races across four fixtures at Ascot, Chester, Market Rasen and Nottingham, with the first race at 1.20pm and last at 8.25pm.

Clive Cottrell, Director of Marketing at Racing UK, said: “The Day Pass should appeal to those who want a more flexible approach than the full-service Racing UK Membership. It allows the racing fan to view without the commitment of a contract, the payment of a connection fee, or the need to subscribe to a Sky package.

“It could be ideal for those who may have an interest in one particular horse, race, meeting or day. With evening racing now underway, it means Racing UK will be broadcasting eight or nine hours of live coverage on some days during the summer.”

The Day Pass will be available for purchase from 4am until 8pm each day and viewing will be available from time of purchase and finish at midnight. Customers can access the Day Pass on all seven of Sky, internet-connected Freeview, Desktop, iPad, iPhone, Android and Mobile web.

Customers can buy a Day Pass by phone and online. For more details please visit www.racinguk.com/daypass.
