Ladies' Day - What to wear guide - Hair

Tuesday 20 June 2017

THE HAIR'S SORTED!

The clock's ticking down to Ladies' Day on Saturday and we've been following the progress of journalist Heather Barron as she prepares for the big day.

Each day, during the countdown to Ladies' Day, we've watched her assembling her glamorous outfit. She started with a lemon dress from Betty Leigh Boutique in Redcar, followed by a hat from Lynne Young at Chic Hats.

Today it's all about the hair and Heather popped along to see Rachael Kerr at Orange Kerr Hair.
Rachael had to make sure the hair and hat wer
e well fixed, so that neither would suffer if it turned out to be a breezy day.

A bit of back-combing, some setting gel and self-grip rollers, and a generous number of hairgrips, ensured that the hat was firmly attached and Heather was given a soft fringe and flattering curls.

"Even the natural grey, that I continually debate about colouring, looked glossy and attractive," said Heather afterwards.

Tomorrow we focus on the make-up...
