Redcar Qualifier Featured On Thursday

Redcar's second meeting of the season - a seven-race programme on Thursday (April 30) - is scheduled to begin at 2-00 p.m. and features the second qualifying race in The Boddingtons Redcar Straight-Mile Championship Series, a popular handicap series at the seaside racecourse which culminates in a £30,000 Final on Saturday, October 3.

Redcar’s brewing partner, InBev UK of Castle Eden, support the series which began on Easter Monday with a victory by Wovoka, trained at Scorton near Richmond in North Yorkshire by David Barker.

The most valuable race of the afternoon, The Book Tickets Online @redcarracing.co.uk Fillies’ Handicap Stakes, is a sprint contest for fillies and mares over the minimum distance of five furlongs.

The big screen, situated opposite the main stands, will enable race-goers to follow all of the action on the track.

Annual membership for 2009 is still available. If you're more of a daily racegoer why not book your ticket, package, and racecard in advance and you will avoid queuing at the turnstiles when you arrive to come racing.
