REDCAR QUALIFIER FEATURED ON TUESDAY

Redcar's mammoth 8 race programme on Tuesday (June 9), scheduled to begin at 2-00 p.m., features the 4th qualifying race in The Boddingtons Redcar Straight-Mile Championship Series, a popular handicap series which culminates in a £30,000 Final on Saturday, October 3.
Wovoka, Paquarettza and Night Knight have each won a qualifying race in this season’s series.
The Betfair Apprentice Training Series Selling Stakes (one mile and three-quarters) is part of a national series of races for apprentice riders who, prior to the start of the series at Pontefract in April, had ridden more than 20 winners. Going into Tuesday’s race, Simon Pearce leads the way from Paul Pickard.
The giant screen situated opposite the main stands, will enable racegoers to follow all of the action.
