REDCAR’S 2024 season gets off to a cracking start with lots of family fun on Easter Monday.

As well as seven scheduled races, the Easter Bunny will be leading the family entertainment as the popular seaside course stages the first of 18 fixtures during the season.

Our furry friend will be playing traditional games with the kids in the Course enclosure, where there will also be bouncy castles, a playground, and face-painting.

Gates open at 11.54am, with the first race due off at 1.54pm.

Redcar’s general manager, Amy Fair, said: “We can’t wait to get going for the new season and welcome lots of families for what is always a fun day for everyone.

“With a competitive day’s racing to look forward to, plus lots of Easter fun, it’s a great way to spend the bank holiday - and don’t forget, entry is free for under-18s with an adult!”
