This week Wetherby and Down Royal are at the forefront of another exciting week’s racing on Racing TV.

The bet365 Meeting is the jewel in Wetherby’s crown, featuring two Listed races on Friday and the £100,000 bet365 Charlie Hall Steeplechase on Saturday. Previous winners of the feature race include chasing superstars Cue Card and Bristol De Mai. Wetherby racegoers will also have the opportunity to watch the Rugby World Cup Final before racing, with gates opening early at 9am, while viewers can enjoy the rugby before The Full SP gets Saturday afternoon’s coverage underway at 11.15am.

In Ireland, Down Royal host their two-day Festival which begins on Friday and features the Grade 2 WKD Hurdle. Day two of the meeting is the biggest raceday in the Down Royal calendar, with the Grade 1 Ladbrokes Champion Chase needing no introduction. Last year's winner Road To Respect is looking to retain his crown against a star-studded field with Clan Des Obeaux and Balko Des Flos also entered.
