Her Majesty The Queen

21st April 1926 – 8th September 2022

All at Redcar Racecourse are deeply saddened by the news this evening of the death of Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II.

Our thoughts and prayers are with her family at this sad time.

The Queen had an unwavering passion for our great sport.  Redcar Racecourse has been privileged to have welcomed her horses and celebrated her winners, including Kingdom of Fife who won the 2009 Zetland Gold Cup.

Horseracing will miss her enthusiasm and support immensely.
