It's day two of the Showcase meeting at Prestbury Park tomorrow with Knight Salute (Milton Bradley) and Pied Piper (Gordon Elliott) meeting again in the Masterson Holdings Hurdle at 2.40pm. The pair fought out a thrilling dead heat at Aintree in April, with the stewards awarding the spoils outright to Knight Salute after an enquiry.
Meanwhile, there is an eight-race Flat fixture at Newbury featuring two Group Three contests - the Virgin Bet Horris Hill Stakes plus Virgin Bet St Simon Stakes. Hamish is a hot favourite for the latter race with his form standing close inspection. There is also a Group Three race to enjoy at Leopardstown in the shape of the Eyrefield Stakes.
On Sunday, Aintree stages the Jewson St Helens Old Roan Chase at 2.40pm. Hitman is favourite for an in-form Paul Nicholls but has to give weight away to Millers Bank, a Grade One winner at Aintree in April.
