Coming racing in 2021

Tickets can be pre-booked at a discounted rate.   Racegoers are able to pay at the gate from our meeting on 28th July onwards, with options to pay by cash or by card. There are no concessions for adults on the day.

Grandstand Enclosure

Access to the revised Grandstand Enclosure including:

  • Malton & Middleham Bars
  • Zetland Bar
  • Takeaway vending vans will sell food and snacks.

Due to C-19 operational requirements there is no access to the following facilities:

  • Food Court
  • Paddock Suite

This is an outdoor ticket - no inside seating available.  Queue management systems and social distancing protocols will be in place.

Racegoers are NOT permitted to bring any personal supplies of food or drink into the Grandstand Enclosure.

Please access the racecourse via the Grandstand Enclosure entrance at the Main Entrance off Redcar Lane.  Postcode for Satnavs TS10 2FD.

FREE Car Parking - There are 2 Grandstand Enclosure parking options for C-19 racedays.

  1. Trackside Car Park - there are limited spaces for cars in the trackside car parking area and it is likely to fill up.  Therefore please book your parking space at the same time as purchasing your Grandstand Enclosure tickets.
  2. Main Entrance Car Park - there is plenty of parking in the Main Entrance Car Park which is available on a "first come, first served" basis.

 

Course Enclosure - Reopens on Thursday 5th August

Also known as the Family Enclosure.  

Located in the centre of the track the Course Enclosure provides good views of the racecourse & value for money family entertainment.

The Course Enclosure has bookmakers, bar and offers great value for all the family.

The playground will NOT be open during the C-19 pandemic.

This is an outdoor ticket - no seating available.  Queue management systems and social distancing protocols will be in place.

Picnics are permitted in the Course Enclosure with a limited amount of alcohol - 4 cans beer / lager, or half a bottle of wine per person.  Spirits, glass bottles, BBQs and gazebos are not permitted. 

Bring your own camping chairs and picnic blankets to enjoy your day.

 

We are determined to manage expectations during 2021 and encourage racegoers to be patient while we embark on the ‘road to recovery’ mapped out by the government.

Racegoers with a Disability

There are no reductions for racegoers with a disability.  However, if a racegoer requires a carer, then the carer is admitted free of charge.  Please contact us to book your complimentary carers' admission ticket.

Our staff are aware that not all disabilities are apparent – to avoid embarrassment, if you are a carer who has booked their carers' complimentary ticket (see above) please bring the relevant identification with you on the day.

There is no designated forward trackside disabled parking.  If you would like trackside parking you can reserve a space in the Trackside Car Park (subject to availaleity) at the time of booking.

Children Under 18 Years Old

Children under 18 are admitted free on every raceday when accompanied by an adult.

 

E-Tickets, Delivery & Collection

E-Tickets

E-Tickets are admission tickets that are delivered electronically to your email address. 

If you can access your emails from your mobile device there is no need to print off your e-ticket. To gain access to the racecourse on the day please go to the turnstiles at the Main Entrance and simply present the e-ticket on your mobile device to be scanned.

Tickets by Post

If you are not able to show your E-Tickets on your mobile device and not able to print your e-tickets yourself we can send your tickets by post.
Postal tickets must be purchased in good time before your chosen raceday to enable the Royal Mail to get to you in time. Postal tickets will be sent to you a week before the race meeting.
The option to request your tickets by post closes 5 working days before the raceday.

Ticket Purchase / Collection on site

There is not currently an option to purchase or collect your tickets from the Racecourse Office due to COVID-19 operating restrictions.

Group Booking Discounts

Save money when you buy 10 or more tickets in advance:

To receive the group booking discount all tickets must be ordered at the same time no later than 7 days before the raceday.

 

 

You can save money when you buy your Early Bird Offer tickets in January & February 2020.  Simply buy your Early Bird Offer ticket before 1st March 2020 to receive the discounted tickets.

 

Kids Under 18 Go Free!

All under 18's are admitted free of charge to all fixtures at Redcar Racecourse when accompanied by an adult.

There really aren’t many places that you can take the kids for free, so make the most of it and enjoy an afternoon of racing with the whole family!  The playground is open for all race meetings and there's always lots of free family entertainment on our Premier race meetings.

OAP & Student Discounts

We offer a discounted rate of admission for senior citizens (60+ years old) and students to all racedays

Simply show your senior citizen proof of age card / NUS card at the entrance gate to receive the discount.

E-Tickets

E-Tickets are admission tickets that are delivered electronically to your email address. 

If you can access your emails from your mobile device there is no need to print off your e-ticket. To gain access to the racecourse on the day please go to a Pre-Paid Entry turnstile and simply present the e-ticket on your mobile device to be scanned.

If you have purchased a Racegoer Package you will receive your admission ticket as an e-ticket and your refreshment vouchers will be sent by post approximately 2 weeks prior to the raceday, or left for collection on the day if purchased within 5 working days of the raceday.

E-tickets are not available for the Crow's Nest Restaurant - your VIP admission badges will be sent by post approximately 2 weeks prior to the raceday, or left for collection on the day if purchased within 5 working days of the raceday.
 

Tickets by Post

If you would prefer to receive your admission tickets by post please select the "postal" option.  Your admission tickets will sent by post approximately 2 weeks prior to the raceday.

Admission tickets purchased within 5 working days of the raceday are only available for collection on the raceday.
 

Ticket Collection

Any tickets that are not E-Tickets purchased within 5 working days of the raceday will be available for collection from the Ticket Collection Desk once the admission gates are open on the raceday.

 

Picnics

Picnics with a limited amount of alcohol (4 cans or 1/2 bottle of wine per person) are permitted in the Course Enclosure only.  Spirits are not permitted.

Only refreshements purchased within the racecourse can be consumed in the Grandstand Enclosure.
 

BBQs & Gazebos

Portable / disposable BBQs and Gazebos are not permitted within the racecourse enclosures.  Please do not bring them with you as you will be refused entrance.
