Redcar Racecourse is easy to get to with excellent road networks providing easy access from the main road networks.

Redcar Racecourse is in the centre of Redcar and is readily accessible by road with links via the A1, A66, A19 and A174 Parkway.

Once on the outskirts of Redcar follow the yellow directional signage to the most appropriate car park.

Grandstand Enclosure

  • via Main Entrance off Redcar Lane - Satnav postcode TS10 2FD
  • via Course Enclosure - access for pre-paid tickets & Season Ticket holders
  • no access via Lumley Road. Exit only after 6th race.

Course Enclosure

  • via West Dyke Road - Satnav postcode TS10 1HT
  • no access via Grandstand Enclosure

Parking:

We have free public car parking at Redcar Racecourse, but please remember to leave plenty of time when planning your journey as the routes around the racecourse can become very busy in the lead up to gates opening and the first race.  It is always better to come early and enjoy a drink at the bar than be stuck in the traffic missing the hot tip in the first race!

  • Grandstand Trackside Parking - If you'd like to park in the trackside car park don't forget to book your space when you purchase your Grandstand admission tickets and we'll send you a car park hanger in the post.
  • Please do not book a Grandstand Trackside Parking space if you are coming into the Course Enclosure - you are not able to access the Grandstand trackside car park from the Course Enclosure.

 

Minibus & Coaches: 

  • Please drop off / collect racegoers for both Enclosures in the Course Enclosure.  
  • There's plenty of free minibus / coach parking in the centre course which serves both the Course and Grandstand Enclosures. 
  • Please follow the directional signage for the Course Enclosure on West Dyke Road.  Satnav postcode TS10 1HT

There are 3 train stations in Redcar so when coming racing by train you will need to purchase a ticket for Redcar Central Station.

Redcar Central Station has regular services linking the rest of the Tees Valley as well as the East Coast Main Line from Darlington.

Access is given to pre-paid Grandstand Enclosure tickets via the Course Enclosure and upgrades to the Grandstand can be purchased once inside the Course Enclosure.
