REDCAR Racecourse is ready to show racism the REDCARD this week.
The fourth annual Wear Red Day takes place on Friday, encouraging schools, businesses and individuals to wear red and donate £1 to help drive anti-racism education.
And Redcar is showing its support by encouraging racegoers and staff to wear a splash of red for the day, with a commemorative photograph being taken in the winner’s enclosure after the first race.
General manager Amy Fair said: “It’s such an important initiative and it’s fitting that Redcar should do its bit to show racism the Redcard.”
Redcar has an eight-race card, getting underway at 1.45pm and topical tips include: Bottleared (1.45pm), MissScarlett (2.45pm), Red Hot Fusion (4.55pm), and Red Allure (4.55pm).
REDDY, SET, GO!
