The Yorkshire Air Ambulance has been announced as the official charity partner of the 2026 Go Racing In Yorkshire Summer Festival, sponsored by Sky Bet.
The annual festival comes to Redcar on Sunday, July 19, and general manager, Amy Fair, applauded the choice of charity, saying: "Air ambulance teams do an incredible job saving lives all year round and we are delighted to be supporting such a great cause."
The much-loved festival showcases the very best of Yorkshire racing across eight of the nine Yorkshire racecourses in July.
Taking place from Friday 17th July to Saturday 25th July 2026, the Go Racing In Yorkshire Summer Festival attracts thousands of racegoers from across the county and beyond, combining top-class racing with entertainment, fashion and family fun.
As charity partner, Yorkshire Air Ambulance will benefit from fundraising activity throughout the festival, alongside opportunities to raise awareness of the vital emergency service it provides across Yorkshire.

Yorkshire Air Ambulance operates a rotational fleet of three state-of-the-art helicopters and provides rapid response emergency critical care to people across Yorkshire every day, relying entirely on public donations to keep its crews flying.
Ben Warn, Chairman of Go Racing In Yorkshire, said: “We are incredibly proud to welcome Yorkshire Air Ambulance as the official charity partner of the 2026 Go Racing In Yorkshire Summer Festival, sponsored by Sky Bet.
“The charity does extraordinary work across our county, often helping people in their most critical moments, particularly in equine and rural areas and we know racing fans across Yorkshire will get behind the partnership wholeheartedly. The Summer Festival is all about celebrating Yorkshire, and supporting such an important Yorkshire charity feels like a perfect fit.”
Tessa Klemz, Regional Fundraising Manager at Yorkshire Air Ambulance for North & East Yorkshire added: “We’re incredibly grateful to Go Racing In Yorkshire for giving Yorkshire Air Ambulance the opportunity to have a presence at all the Yorkshire racecourses during the Go Racing In Yorkshire Summer Festival in July.
“The racing fraternity are already great supporters and we’re looking forward to raising more funds and awareness of the life-saving charity. Being at so many racecourses over the week will play a vital role in helping us to continue delivering lifesaving care across Yorkshire and being there for patients when they need us most.”
