Raceday Information – Friday 18th June
16/06/21

We are are racing on Friday 18th June and again on Saturday 19th June.

Under the Government's current "roadmap" we are looking forward to welcoming a limited number of spectators to Redcar for this meeting.

While social distancing remains in place we are unable to open up all areas of the Racecourse as normal and so there will be a revised Grandstand Enclosure in operation.

We are offering a limited number of tickets for visitors to join us in our main Grandstand Enclosure which has two fully covered grandstands and fantastic views of the track. Full betting facilities are also provided. If you wish to book please click here

All of the action will be available to watch live on Racing TV and each race will be uploaded onto the Racing TV player on our website here.

FREE Car Parking - there is also plenty of free parking in the Main Entrance car park which is available on a "first come first served" basis.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Face coverings must be worn at all times whilst indoors, unless specific exemptions apply. Face coverings should be triple layered (in line with specifications set out by the BHA) to provide maximum protection.

Social distancing still remains extremely important and we cannot emphasis strongly enough how important it is that everyone continues to apply social distancing correctly. The Covid-19 virus remains deadly (for many), phenomenally contagious and it is not going away anytime soon!

At Redcar we apply the 2m-rule and so if you cannot distance yourself at least 2m from other people at all times, and we advise all attendees to wash and sanitize their hands frequently.

The NHS Track and Trace System is in place at Redcar Racecourse.  All attendees are requested to fulfil the requirements of the app. A QR code will be prominently displayed at the entrance which individuals will need to scan using the NHS Covid-19 app on their smartphone to register their attendance for Track and Trace.

The arrivals process will be slower than usual due to the testing procedures in place, so please allow yourself some extra time.

For further information, please click here. If you are unclear on anything, please do not hesitate to contact the Racecourse Office to resolve any issues.
