We are are racing on Wednesday 22nd September

Racegoers are able to join us in our main Grandstand Enclosure which has two fully covered grandstands and fantastic views of the track. The Course Enclosure will be open for this meeting operating as a picnic area.  The playground will NOT be open during the C-19 pandemic.

This is an outdoor event with no indoor furniture, except in hospitality areas.

All of the action will be available to watch live on Racing TV and each race will be uploaded onto the Racing TV player on our website here.

TIMINGS FOR THE DAY (AFTER declarations):

  •  8.00am          Sites open for raceday staff (5 hours before the 1st race)
  •  11.00am        Public Gates open (2 hour before the 1st race)
  •  1.00pm          First race
  •  4.53pm          Last race
  • 8 races on the card

 

OWNERS’ INFORMATION:

We are pleased to be able to welcome owners and owners (or representatives) are allowed 6 complimentary badges per horse to this meeting.  Up to 10 addional badges per runner are available to purchase in advance.  Please contact the Racecourse Office to make arrangements.

Owners planning on attending to watch their horse(s) run must register their attendance PASS. To register your attendees, please log into PASS and submit the names and contact details of the individuals who will attend the racecourse. Please ensure registration is completed before the deadline at 4pm on Tuesday 21st September, 2021

Parking for owners is in the Main Entrance car park off Redcar Lane.  Satnav postcode TS10 2FD

GRANDSTAND ENCLOSURE ADMISSION:

C-19 Grandstand Enclosure ticket holders will be able to:

  • Watch the horses in the Parade Ring and cheer your horse into the Winners’ Enclosure
  • Have great views of the racing action on the course
  • Buy a drink from the Malton, Middleham and Zetland Bars to drink outside
  • Buy something to eat from the Middleham Bar or mobile vending units
  • Have a bet and (hopefully) collect your winnings!

This is an outdoor ticket - no inside seating available.  Queue management systems and social distancing protocols will be in place.

Please access the Grandstand Enclosure via the Main Entrance off Redcar Lane (postcode for Satnavs TS10 2FD). The entrances off Lumley Road and West Dyke Road will not be open.

Racegoers are NOT permitted to bring any personal supplies of food or drink into the Grandstand Enclosure.

 

COURSE ENCLOSURE ADMISSION:

Located in the centre of the track the Course Enclosure provides good views of the racecourse & value for money family entertainment.

The Course Enclosure has bookmakers, bar and offers great value for all the family.

The playground will NOT be open during the C-19 pandemic.

Picnics are permitted in the Course Enclosure with a limited amount of alcohol - 4 cans beer / lager, or half a bottle of wine per person.  Spirits, glass bottles, BBQs and gazebos are not permitted. 

No seating available so bring your own camping chairs and picnic blankets to enjoy your day.

Parking is free of charge on racedays.  

Trackside Car Parking - there are limited parking spaces in the Grandstand Enclosure track side car park and this area is likely to fill up.  If you book this option you will be sent a car park mirror hanger in advance of the race meeting which will need to be on display to gain access to this car park.

FREE Car Parking - there is also plenty of free parking in the Main Entrance car park which is available on a "first come first served" basis.

 

GENERAL INFORMATION:

Social distancing still remains extremely important and we cannot emphasis strongly enough how important it is that everyone continues to follow social distancing guidelines. The Covid-19 virus remains deadly (for many), phenomenally contagious and it is not going away anytime soon!  

Face masks are no longer mandatory.  We will still be politely encouraging customers to continue to wear masks when in doors and ensure they are distancing where possible.  

Our team will continue to wear masks and to social distance from you.  Our team come into contact with many people daily and so we will be doing everything we can to keep everyone, including you, safe.

Our clean team will continue to sanitise frequently touched contact points regularly.

We advise all attendees to wash and sanitize their hands frequently. 

Bar facilities are provided in the Malton, Middleham, and Zetland Bars.  Takeway food will be on offer from the Middleham and Zetland Bars and concession units within the Grandstand Enclosure.  Please respect all queue management systems and social distancing protocols. 

The Voltigeur Restaurant is available to book. Please contact our caterers CGC Event Caterers . Walk ins are now available on a first come first served basis.

NHS Track & Trace sign in will still be on display and whilst it is no longer mandatory to sign in we encourage you to do so.
