We are are racing on Wednesday 28th July.
Under the Government's current "roadmap" we are looking forward to welcoming a limited number of spectators to Redcar for this meeting.
While social distancing remains in place we are unable to open up all areas of the Racecourse as normal and so there will be a revised Grandstand Enclosure in operation.
We are offering a limited number of tickets for visitors to join us in our main Grandstand Enclosure which has two fully covered grandstands and fantastic views of the track. Full betting facilities are also provided. If you wish to book please click here

GRANDSTAND ENCLOSURE ADMISSION:
Further to the BHA’s updated Covid Guidelines we’re pleased to announce that from 17th May all C-19 Grandstand Enclosure ticket holders will be able to:
- Watch the horses in the Parade Ring and cheer your horse into the Winners’ Enclosure
- Have great views of the racing action on the course
- Buy a drink from the Malton, Middleham and Zetland Bars to drink outside
- Buy something to eat from the Middleham Bar or mobile vending units
- Have a bet and (hopefully) collect your winnings!
Racegoers are NOT permitted to bring any personal supplies of food or drink into the Grandstand Enclosure.
There is also no need to wear a mask when outside. However masks must be worn at all times whilst you are indoors, unless you are eating, drinking, or have medical dispensation.
The C-19 Grandstand Enclosure admission ticket is an outside ticket - no inside seating available.
We have restricted capacity and measures in place to maintain the safety of all attending.
Tickets are available for all our race meetings in June and MUST be booked in advance.
Parking is free of charge on racedays.
Trackside Car Parking - there are limited parking spaces in the Grandstand Enclosure track side car park and this area is likely to fill up. If you book this option you will be sent a car park mirror hanger in advance of the race meeting which will need to be on display to gain access to this car park.
FREE Car Parking - there is also plenty of free parking in the Main Entrance car park which is available on a "first come first served" basis.
Face coverings must be worn at all times whilst indoors, unless specific exemptions apply. Face coverings should be triple layered (in line with specifications set out by the BHA) to provide maximum protection.
Social distancing still remains extremely important and we cannot emphasis strongly enough how important it is that everyone continues to apply social distancing correctly. The Covid-19 virus remains deadly (for many), phenomenally contagious and it is not going away anytime soon!
At Redcar we apply the 2m-rule and so if you cannot distance yourself at least 2m from other people at all times, and we advise all attendees to wash and sanitize their hands frequently.
The NHS Track and Trace System is in place at Redcar Racecourse. All attendees are requested to fulfil the requirements of the app. A QR code will be prominently displayed at the entrance which individuals will need to scan using the NHS Covid-19 app on their smartphone to register their attendance for Track and Trace.
The arrivals process will be slower than usual due to the testing procedures in place, so please allow yourself some extra time.
For further information, please click here. If you are unclear on anything, please do not hesitate to contact the Racecourse Office to resolve any issues.
